        The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) is an advanced-level certificate for a pilot. The ATP certificate provides pilots the privilege to fly for an airline, instruct other pilots in the air transportation service, and endorse pilot logbooks and training records. Candidates must meet prerequisite, training and experience requirements. Candidates must pass a written exam.
